In this series I will try to make at least one drawing per week of one car that I personally appreciate. I'll just draw the cars from pictures, no underlaying and I will eventually add some colour in Photoshop, but not change anything on the original sketch.
So here is my first car, the Audi A2. I'd love to drive one, I love the concept, and once again the car failed because it was too modern for the time. It looks gorgeous on the street, the form language is a beautiful interpretation of Bauhaus-Design Audi started to reinterpret with the TTS Concept back in 1995. The A2 is definitely one of the most beautiful and well-proportioned small cars ever. Just beautiful.

The Avantime, of which only 4,500 units went into customers' hands from 2001 o 2003, is a unique car and undoubtedly one of my all-time favorites. I can't wait until I have enough dough together to get my own 3.0-V6 one.
Check out the www.avantime-gallery.org fan site with many beautiful personal Avantimes coming from all over the world.
I hope you liked it and wish everyone a nice AvanTime!

Well this was my BMW Internship work. It is a 1:4 clay model.
Basically a cab-forward low-size coupé with rear E-engines.
Formal inspiration was the cheetah.
Actually there's a lot more technical and conceptual background to the model but I'll just leave you with some images of the unfinished model, pics of the finished one to follow soon(er or later).

Last two weeks in my BMW-intern...
My model still needs final refinement and on friday I'll be having an exit meeting with Chris Bangle.
By the way I won some contest in the german AUTOZEITUNG magazine.
I got the first place in the Mercedes-Benz category and the second place in the Alfa Romeo one. As price I will have the possibility to make an internship of several weeks in a MB-Studio of my choice...I hope I'll be able to choose the one in California. Btw my entry; the task was to redesign the current (W221) S-class.
Here's a picture of both the entries. Check them out on deviantArt.
Next month I'll be spending on creating my pforzheim portfolio...In addition I'll do one for the National Swiss Design Contest before the end of January.
